چکیده
Evaluation and modeling of soil water infiltration are essential to all aspects resources management the design hydraulic structures. Nonetheless, research focused on experimental studies rates in arid semi-arid regions under unknown boundary conditions remains minimal. This paper investigates characteristics spatial variability over a rural basin Algeria. The experiments were conducted using portable double-ring infiltrometer filled at an equal volume approximately 100 L for each 25 catchment locations. Soil moisture contents proximity test location evaluated laboratory as per standard NF P94–050 protocol. results used produce curves three statistically fitted models, namely Horton, Kostiakov, Philip models. reliability models was assessed four performance criteria. statistical regressions suggest that Horton model is most suitable assess rate with mean coefficients Nash = 0.963, CC 0.985, RMSE 1.839 (cm/h), Bias 0.241. superiority suggests initial final rates, primarily affected by type, moistures, land cover, important predictors process Madjez Ressoul catchment. also infer applicability other different types undeveloped soils study area requires advanced field investigations. finding will support understanding hydrologic processes basins, especially advising crop irrigation schemes methods managing recurring flood drought country.

15 صفحه اولParameter estimation for neuron models
Methods for estimating parameters of the Hindmarsh-Rose (HR) neuron model from a single time series are investigated. Two approaches, (1) synchronization based parameter estimation and (2) adaptive observer, are presented. Both methods are applied to membrane potential data recorded from a single lateral pyloric neuron synaptically isolated from other neurons.
متن کاملComparison of One-point and Two-point Methods for Estimation of Infiltration Parameters in Furrow Irrigation
Infiltration is one of the most important hydraulic parameters affecting surface irrigation and one ofthe most difficult parameters in practical field determinations. The infiltration equations are used todescribe water flow hydraulics and surface irrigation systems design. But determination of theparameters in these equations are costly and time consuming. Therefore, some estimating methods ar...
متن کاملParameter estimation of diffusion models ∗
Parameter estimation problems of diffusion models are discussed. The problems of maximum likelihood estimation and model selections from continuous observations are illustrated through diffusion growth model which generalizes some classical ones.
متن کاملParameter Estimation for Generalized Thurstone Choice Models
We consider the maximum likelihood parameter estimation problem for a generalized Thurstone choice model, where choices are top-1 items from comparison sets of two or more items. We provide tight characterizations of the mean square error, as well as necessary and sufficient conditions for correct classification when each item belongs to one of two classes. These results provide insights into h...
